Here at Cosy Toes have found a place in New Zealand that would be most greatful for your efforts.

Pregnancy Help Inc - Canterbury supports the wellbeing of pregnant and recently pregnant women, parents, caregivers and their families/whanau by providing information and practical support with care, concern and confidentiality. They are not a Government agency but an independent, not for profit organisation registered with the Charities Commission.

I was lucky enough to visit them recently to see the good work they are doing within our community. Because we had an overwhelming response for our Ugandan orphan sock drive, I had some lovely knitted garments left over. They were most greatful and loved the bright colours!

Young Mums are taught to knit at the centre also around a coffee and a friendly chat. They are taught the importance of wool and its warmth for their little babies. We think that's great!

So how can you help?

The Drop In centre is wanting donations of knitted wool singlets and knitted wool blankets in bassinet and cot sizes.
If you would like to contribute here are some patterns. But if you have your own that is fine too.

If you don't knit but have clean wool yarn in 8ply and 3ply they would be greatly appreciated too.
