Merino wool socks are our specialty.
Cosy Toes® was founded by Tracey Robinson in 2005.
Tracey has two sons and in 2005 Drew was 3 years old and Logan was not quite a 1 year old. "I couldn't find any wool socks for my boys when they were little and I couldn't work out where all the wool socks had gone from when I was small." Being brought up on a North Canterbury sheep farm, she was expected to help on the farm and brought up working in the shearing shed and helping with lambing and tailing. "I grew up with wool, Mum was a knitter and I just knew the benefits of it."
Cosy Toes® was created from a need for our family.
From this websites first suprise order in 2005, Cosy Toes® has grown to extend its merino wool sock range, to merino wool clothing, wool blankets and wool tights and now posts orders all over New Zealand, Australia, United Kingdom, United States and Europe.
Award Winning
Cosy Toes® was a finalist in The 2009 David Awards - Most outstanding Triumph over Adversity and in 2010 was awarded the South Island overall winner for the Enterprising Rural Women Award.
